Location Hotel Ada Palace
The Hotel Ada Palace is located in the most prestigious part of the Gran Vía at the crossroads with calle de Alcalá, and a few metres from the Plaza de la Cibeles, the Bank of Spain and the City Hall of Madrid.
The Hotel Ada Palace is perfectly communicated by several bus routes and metro lines, it is just a few minutes from the Recoletos station (regional trains) and surrounded by the most representative sights of the capital.
How to arrive by car
From the airport:
- Take the motorway to the centre.
- Take exit 4B for the M-30, in the direction of Valencia/A3/Calle Alcalá.
- Follow signs for Valencia/Vicálvaro/M-23/R-3.
- Take exit 6, Calle Alcalá.
- Go along the Calle Alcalá, pass the Plaza de Cibeles, go down this street turning slightly to the right: Gran Vía, number 2.
From the south:
- Follow signs to the city centre.
- Take the M-30 in the direction of the A2/Toledo/Legazpi.
- Take exit 18 - Plaza de España.
- At the San Vicente roundabout, take the second exit and pass Plaza de España.
- Turn right into Calle Gran Vía.
How to arrive by public transport from airport
- Metro:
- Take line 8 (pink) as far as Mar de Cristal (corresponding with line 4- brown); change to line 4 (brown) as far as Goya (corresponding with line 2 – red); change to line 2 (red) and get off at Banco de España, just 100 m from the hotel.
- Taxi:
- Easily taken from the airport. The approximate cost is €20-25. It takes 15-20 minutes.
- Bus:
- The airport bus leaves the terminals every 15 minutes. It is fast and comfortable with space for luggage. It takes 20-25 minutes. The price is €3.50 per person. The interchange connects with ten EMT (Madrid city transport) bus routes: nº 150 (Puerta del Sol-Virgen del Cortijo).
